1. Can my dependents use the health card? Yes, but only the Out-patient benefit which includes the free clinic consultation
and 30% discount on laboratory and diagnostic procedures at our IWC-
clinics and other partnered clinics.
2. Can I get a refund if I was not able to use the health card? No, your cash could not be refunded for the company allocates it to various
services that will protect you in any sickness or accidents in the future.
3. Can I continue my IMS membership even if I am no longer a worker at my agency? No, because your program is exclusive for your agency but you may avail of our
individual program at a different course of payment.

5. Are medicines covered during the availment? It depends. In the course of hospitalization, medicines are covered if it was
indicated in your hospital bill, but medicines bought outside shall be shouldered
by the member.
6. Is the doctor’s fee covered during the availment? Yes, doctor’s fee is covered when indicated in the hospital bill. However, there
are instances that we do not cover doctor’s fee if the member seeks professional
aid from a non-accredited specialist.
7. Can my dependents use my health card if they will be hospitalized? No, because the hospitalization benefit included in your card is exclusive for you.
8. Who are my dependents? If you are single, your dependents include your father and mother aged 65 years
old and below. If you are married, your dependents include your spouse age 65
years old and below and also your children aged 5 to 21 years old.
9. What are your terms of payment? We accept monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual terms of payment. You
can deposit your payment through our BPI and BDO accounts and email us a
copy of your deposit slip to confirm payment.
10. Is there an expiration date for my health card? No, because as long as you are paying continuously you are an active member
of IMS health card. However, if your payment lapsed for a couple of months, your
membership will be terminated.
11. Do you reimburse the hospital bill? No, the good thing about our service is that we acknowledge actual deduction to
your hospital bill that sometimes you do not have to cash out. But, we do
reimbursement if it involves emergency cases and the member was admitted at a
non-accredited hospital.

13. What are the general exclusions of your products?
Hospitalization & services a member receives from a non-accredited physician and/or from a non-accredited hospital.
Open heart surgery, organ transplant, previous craniotomy sequelae & other procedures related to such
Service/s to diagnose and/or reverse fertility or infertility
Plastic & reconstructive surgery for cosmetic purposes
14. How do I file a claim? You can file your claim by furnishing these documents:

15. If I wanted to upgrade my room into a category that is not stated in my plan, may I do so? Yes, however all additional charges due to the upgrading of room will be
shouldered by the member itself. (Example: If in your plan your room is WARD
and you’ll upgrade it to SEMI-PRIVATE, the computation will be: Php1500 (semi-
private) - Php700 (ward) = Php800 (The payment you’ll shoulder).
16. Do I get 100% reimbursement for my emergency confinement in a non-accredited hospital? It depends. Normally, we reimburse up to 80% of the total bill however it is also
subject to further evaluation as it is a case to case basis.
17. If I lose my card, what should I do? First you would have to inform us that your card was lost and then we will issue
you a replacement with a corresponding fee of P100.
18. If I am located in the province, can I use my HMO card? Yes. We have accredited hospitals, clinics and dentists all over the Philippines.

19. Do you offer a program that includes maternity care?
Yes. We have a program specifically designed for pregnant women. You can

20. During my consultation, I was advised by my doctor that I needed to be
confined immediately. Will my out-patient and inpatient benefits be
deducted at the same time?
No. In your case, the hospital bill will only be deducted from your In-patient benefit
including your previous medical consultation.
